@ Wedding Ceremonies

You can choose 3 venues within the grounds of Knockninny House for your Civil or Religious Ceremony;

The Porter Room Our beautiful Porter Room named after Knockninny's founder; John Grey Vesey Porter located inside Knockninny House is large enough to cater for 100 people, yet cosy enough to cater for 10 people. Enjoy a "walk up the isle" entrance as with a traditional church wedding and be married in front of The Porter Room fireplace or with the backdrop of Lough Erne. The Porter Room provides you and your guests with continuous panoramic views of Lough Erne. The Porter Room lends itself to the cosiness and ambience of a winter wedding and bright and airiness for a spring/summer wedding.

Knockninny Marquees You can choose our beautifully decorated marquees too. Again, you can enjoy all the benefits of Knockninny's surroundings but still gain that sentiment that you got married in a marquee. Unlike other wedding venue providers, we do not hire in marquees, they are property of Knockninny, so the unexpected hassles of marquee hire, dressing and decorating, event co-ordination; for example production of electrical and fire certificates for licensing purposes are eliminated. Our package provides all of this for you.

Knockninny Gardens (overlooking the lake) Weather permitting, our gardens provide a fabulous setting for a perfect outdoor wedding. Picture our walkway furnished with red carpet, your guests awaiting the happy couple's arrival on beautifully decorated chairs, the wind in your hair and that sense of freedom of being married out of doors. Should the weather prove not to be in your favour, we can quickly and inconspicuously turnaround your ceremony to be held in our marquee.

A Wedding Venue all of your own When you book Knockninny House for your wedding ceremony, our package also provides you with exclusivity to our accommodation and Knockninny House. Couples choosing Knockninny House are also required to stay in our accommodation sleeping 12 persons for at least one night. This not only ensures exclusivity, it also provides the bridal party or close family and friends with time to oversee final touches. We would recommend that you stay at Knockninny House the night before and the night of your wedding ceremony. By doing so, this ensures exclusivity. Should you wish to stay another night or for a longer period then please do let us know at the time of booking.

Wedding Photographs Following your nuptials our package includes complimentary champagne for the happy couple as well as tea and coffee to your guests. Whilst your guests sip, you can slip off and have your wedding photographs taken within Knockninny House and grounds. What a beautiful back drop for your wedding memories.
